Updates to Blaze #18

Blaze #18, our difficult par 4 finishing hole, is being transformed into a longer, strategic par 5!

The primary tee box has been moved back to 480 yards, and the hole features 3 new bunkers on the dog leg, as well as a new bunker fronting the creek, near the second shot landing area.
What was once a long and extremely difficult par 4 is now a risk/reward potential eagle or birdie hole. Get your drive in the fairway, avoiding the well-placed bunkers, strike a second shot around the corner, and the green is accessible for a potential birdie. For the long knockers that can reach the corner off the tee shot, eagle is within reach. Trouble lurks with 4 new bunkers and our iconic inside corner tree, but the hole is immensely playable and good golf shots will be rewarded.

We will sod the new tee boxes soon, and the par 5 should be ready for play in mid-June. Until then, the hole will play in its current form as a par 4.
